You see about 10 Ferraris per minute in Monaco but it's only when you cross the italian border that the cars start speeding. I went to San Remo, a small village just 40 km from Monaco. It's a small distance but a huge difference... Since the very moment I entered Italy, I could feel the chaos I always think of when we talk about this country. In 30 minutes the yachts in the marina were replaced by fishing boats, the glamorous restaurants by typical pizzerias and the hight street stores by hawkers. I loved! San Remo is small but beautiful as you can see by the photos. And the color of the sea... Mmmm, it reminded me of Formentera. Tiffany blue? Never mind, this one is not for sale!
So and now what? Now I want to return to Italy of course. I want to hear the loud and fast conversations in italian, I want to ride a pink vespa, I want to eat past until I die... I want to feel more of the real Italy. Not the glamour of Milan, not the italian clothing brands, not the expensive restaurants to eat french cuisine. I want to feel Italy like I did last Sunday in San Remo.
Here is my bag, the Neverfull.
The one I wanted since the begininng. I just needed one second to be sure ;)
