Ain't no sunshine when she's gone....

Thursday was a family day. It was the First Holy Communion of my niece in our beautiful city: Guimarães. The sun was shinning up in the sky, everyone was in a good mood, like all families should be all of the time. Each one of us was a ray of light and my niece our shinning little princess.
I decided to wear this Asos black dress, perfect for a special occasion but not to one of the million weddings parties I'm having this Summer. Although my father asked me if I was wearing a night gown I felt really good in it. These Yves Saint Laurent sandals were bought on sale last Summer but the true is they are not confortable at all... At least this way I have a good pair of black party shoes to keep and use once in a while. The accessories were thought to match with the dress's golden piece. The Charlie Mulberry clutch that you saw here many times and a vintage Lorion et Karels cuff my mother bought in an auction. The make up was quite simple once I'm already tanned and I kept my focus on the eyes.
I hope you like the photos once I had something like 80 and it was really tough to choose these. And soon, more to come of the delicious weekend I'm having. A great Saturday night to each one of you.

The queen of our day was my older niece, M, gorgeous in Bonpoint. She's so girly, such a little princess that I gave her a Tiffany heart locker, the very first she has. And I'm sure she's going to keep and remember forever the present her favourite aham aunt gave her. I hope so!
