The good thing about christening parties is that you don't need to dress up as much as for a wedding. The bad thing is that I never know what to wear. The weather isn't helping, so I decided something between a floral dress and a long white "princess" coat (no bridezilla around, white all the way!). The pieces I chose have very straigh lines and they are all quite minimal, perfect to contrast with the splash of pastel colours I'll be wearing: light blue, light pink, mellow yellow and so on. I'm not convinced yet, so let's see if next Saturday this will be my mood or something completely different. One thing I'm sure: the white coat is a keeper.
