At home!

I think this must be the place you saw the most on this blog. At least during warm time. Since I was 4 that I lived between three cities so I never felt this house or this city like being mine. I remember coming here during weekend and exploring every single square and finding hidden places, later my secret spots. It took me about 25 years to feel this city like my own. I guess I needed to go abroad to understand how much I enjoyed being here: Guimarães is the city where I was born, the city where my country was born and I am now really proud for being part of it.
This spot you see in pictures... It is not one of the secret places from my childhood but it's the place where you can enjoy the best about this house: the view to the city and its castel and palace. To be honest, I don't even like to see pictures on blogs taken outside the houses but for some reason I keep taking mine here. Call me biased if you want but this is just the best place on Earth. The place where I stand, take a deep breath and feel myself at home. Ok, so maybe not the best place in the whole world... Just the best of my own.

I know I still owe you the photos from my favourite shows but this was the post about Portugal Fashion I wanted to do the most. I love photography and by this I mean taking pictures to others and everything around, not to myself. Here are some photos (out of 800) taken by me to the people and details of Portugal Fashion "Cross" Edition.

Surrended to Jeffrey Campbell!

I knew sooner or later I would have to swallow my words... Remember some months ago when I wrote here about JC shoes? I don't like Litas at all, even being the most wanted shoe of the year, but I like some other models. Like I said, I'm a fashion democrat...
Au Revoir Cinderella, the official Jeffrey Campbell online store for both Portugal and Spain, is going to open a store next month in Barcelona and they decided to celebrate the occasion by offering JC shoes to some bloggers. I was one of them and, of course, I chose the Foxy ones right away. So yes, everyone who told me about the wonders of Jeffrey Campbell shoes was right: they are super comfortable and I get really tall in less than a second. I still don't like Litas though, but I'm surrended to these ones, especially to the colour.
For all of you we send me emails asking were to buy JC shoes, here is the answer. The online store has better prices than the ones I'm used to see and they deliver in less than 48 hours in Portugal or Spain. The cherry on top of the cake: free shipping!

PF day THREE & FOUR - From a cocktail dress to broken jeans

Day 3

Friday it was "the" day. The day when everything important was going to happen and so I dressed up to the occasion. Like I told you before I chose a Diogo Miranda dress, the first show I attended in the third day (photos coming soon). The dress made me feel quite elegant so I chose a minimalist hairstyle and make up so I could stand up the beautiful design. In my hair you can see the first DIY of my life, inspired by my dear TheGirlChic. A piece of leather, some minutes looking at it, some random cuts and I was ready to go. For the accessories I chose gold and black leather and I was quite happy with the final result.

Diogo, the talented designer and author of my dress.

With Sil and Joaninha. Always having fun with these two.

Love my diy. Momma's proud! :)

End of the night with my dear Filipe, director of Dsection Mag

I was wearing:
Diogo Miranda dress* Zara sandals* Tous clutch* Lorions et Karels cuff* Chanel Earrings* Sinéquanone fur coat

Day 4

Last show of Portugal Fashion, seen next to my good friend Tiago.

For the last day all I wanted was to be comfortable. I woke up with all my bones hurting and it was Saturday, time to hang with the friends. Actually yesterday was the day that I worked the most for the blog, tons of picture from the people and details of Portugal Fashion coming soon, so I'm really grateful I was wearing sneakers. No make up at all, so you can see by my huge eyeballs, but in the end of the night, after 7 non stop working hours, I had a great feeling of mission accomplished.

I was wearing:
Zara knit* Sfera top* Zara jeans* Gucci sneakers* Balenciaga bracelet* The Cambridge Satchel Company bag
